When we speak with meeting planners about incentive cruises and meetings at sea, their wish list nearly always includes “more short cruises on a new ship”.
So we’re happy to share that Holland America’s newest mid-sized premium ship, ms Nieuw Statendam, is offering 2 short “gem cruises” from her seasonal homeport of Ft. Lauderdale in 2018 and 2019.
The 4-night voyage departs on December 19, 2018 offers a unique opportunity for a holiday incentive program. Nieuw Statendam’s first cruise from Ft. Lauderdale includes visits to Half Moon Cay, Bahamas and Key West, Florida. A day at sea can be used for meetings, group activities, or leisure time for attendees to enjoy the ship’s amenities.
A 3-night “getaway” cruise departs sails January 30, 2019 and includes a call at the cruise line’s private island paradise, Half Moon Cay, Bahamas – the perfect destination for a private beach event! This itinerary also includes a full day at sea.
For the remainder of the season, Nieuw Statendam will alternate 7 and 10-night western and eastern Caribbean itineraries.
About ms Nieuw Statendam
Sister ship to to acclaimed Pinnacle-class ms Koningsdam, the 2,650-passenger ms Nieuw Statendam will continue to showcase Holland America Line’s nautical heritage and classic style while raising the bar on modern elegance.
The ship features interiors created by brilliant hospitality designer Adam D. Tihany, light-filled spaces, and a soaring 3-deck high atrium capped by a ceiling with subtly-changing scenes (picture wispy clouds by day, star constellations at night).
Other ship highlights will include a multitude of inspired dining and entertainment venues; a selection of culinary, wellness, and enrichment activities; a world-class spa; reimagined staterooms and suites; and of course, Holland America Line’s signature service.
