A beloved ship returns to Miami with a new name, new facilities, and exciting new itineraries, including possible short cruises to Cuba…just perfect for meetings, incentives, and private charters!
After undergoing $50 million in upgrades, the “new” Empress of the Seas (the former beloved Nordic Empress) is back in the Royal Caribbean fleet and sailing from Miami. Four and five night alternating itineraries feature longer stays in ports including Nassau, Coco Cay, Key West, and Grand Cayman. But there’s one more tropical island that might be added to the mix…
Empress of the Seas may add short cruises to Cuba!
Because of the ship’s smaller size (801 rooms), Royal Caribbean International has confirmed that Empress of the Seas could be the first ship in the fleet to sail to Cuba from Miami. Pending government approvals from both the U.S. and Cuba, itineraries might begin featuring calls to the once-forbidden island as early as August 2016.
After being off-limits to U.S. travelers for decades, a cruise to Cuba is the ultimate incentive, sure to motivate and inspire long after your program ends!
