Continuing Medical Education Cruise for specialized physicians (40 attendees)
A prominent doctor led an in-depth medical symposium at sea for 40 physicians who wanted to learn specialized techniques.
Based on the program requirements and hours of continuing medical education, Landry& Kling recommended Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas. Cruise Events Manager Nicola Rowan was on board the ship on to oversee their first-ever intensive training course at sea.
The 7-night cruise sailed round trip from Miami to the Eastern Caribbean, visiting St. Kitts & Nevis, and St. Thomas USVI. The group also enjoyed an afternoon of relaxation and adventure at Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s spectacular private island.
Three days at sea allowed plenty of time for classes, practical workshops, interactive case presentations and panel discussions with the doctor, a recognized expert in their specialized field. Two private cocktail receptions and a reserved dining section in the restaurant also gave attendees ample opportunities to mingle, share ideas, and bond with their colleagues.
Between educational sessions, the physicians took advantage of Symphony of the Seas’ complimentary & specialty dining options, spectacular sports facilities, and variety of world-class entertainment.
