Touring the “World’s Best” Small Ship – Europa 2 / November 25, 2019
Hapag-Lloyd’s Europa 2 holds the highest distinction of 5-stars-plus, so we didn’t miss the opportunity to plan a site visit when the ship was docked in PortMiami. Pedro Jaimot, Manager of Client Services; Heather Wulkan, Field Sales; and Malene Ruiz, Assistant to CEO Joyce Landry, spent an afternoon on board and all gave Europa 2 rave reviews.
Hapag Lloyd’s MS EUROPA 2 is unlike any other luxury vessel I’ve ever seen and certainly deserves its 5+-stars of awarded recognition. This a great ship choice for top-tier incentive groups, meetings or milestone celebrations. It features spacious layouts, high ceilings, light décor, and a superb staff that quickly knows your favorite foods and beverages – perfect to appeal to every guest’s appetite!
With 7 restaurants, 6 bars throughout the ship, a large long spacious pool (the largest for this size ship), a sophisticated gym and world-class spa, this extraordinary resort-style ship is the perfect home away from home for 500 guests. Just the right size for a private ship charter! There are even two cutting-edge golf simulators aboard for your golf enthusiasts.
Wondering what the attire aboard is? No need to worry about carrying extra bags as Europa 2’s country-club casual attire in every restaurant and throughout the ship will save your attendees time and space, helping them feel right at home.
There are two primary languages spoken aboard, German and English. Planning a family program? There are children centers, programs, and even excursions offered aboard. And as a European Luxury Line, they are committed to protecting the environments so their ships’ engines produce fewer emissions.

Helping Hurricane Dorian Evacuees
Our company wanted to do something for the evacuees of hurricane Dorian. We asked our staff to gather/purchase supplies and they were loaded into Vicki’s car for delivery to the Christ Episcopal Church in Coconut Grove, the first community settled in South Florida by Bahamians.
The supplies have been flowing through this church and loaded onto planes and container ships for delivery to the shelters in Nassau, which is where most of the evacuees are being housed and fed. There are thousands more in the Abacos still being evacuated.
Want to help those in need? The islands of the Bahamas has set up a page on their website as a resource center with updates on hurricane relief efforts: https://www.bahamas.com/relief
