4-Night Bahamas Cruise Will Feature 18 Classic Rock Bands;
Proceeds to Benefit Native American Heritage Association
Miami, Fla., June 7, 2011—Landry & Kling, long-time cruise event specialists, are pleased to announce the Native American Heritage Association’s Rock Legends Cruise. The 4-night Bahamas cruise departs December 1, 2011 and will feature legendary artists ZZ Top, George Thorogood and the Destroyers and Foghat. Proceeds will benefit the Native American Heritage Association(NAHA), a charitable non-profit organization serving Native American families on the reservations of South Dakota. NAHA holds the highest 4-star rating from Charity Navigator indicating that the organization consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible manner.
This is the largest rock cruise ever with 18 bands performing in 4 different venues aboard Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas,one of the world’s biggest cruise ships. The 3,200 passenger ship is perfect for a full charter, with multiple music and entertainment venues, a wide array of dining options and unique recreational facilities.
Landry & Kling worked closely with NAHA, providing turn-key services for this special interest cruise including planning the daily program, staging logistics, website creation and attendee registration management. Landry & Kling’s technical team handled online registration, and the marketing team assisted with press releases, social media and the production of TV and radio commercials.
“Landry & Kling provided us with invaluable guidance,” said Pamela J. Myers, NAHA’s executive vice president. “While others told us our vision was too big, Landry & Kling helped us through each challenge to launch this outrageous fundraiser-festival at sea.”
“We’re honored to have the opportunity to support NAHA in realizing its ambitious goal of hosting a multi-day rock festival at sea,” said Karyn Altman, vice president, Landry & Kling. “The Rock Legends Cruise is an excellent example of how any organization can use a cruise to create a unique travel experience that also supports a charitable cause.”
The Rock Legends Cruise sails roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, FL December 1-5, 2011, to Nassau and Coco Cay, Bahamas.
