3-Night Program Highlights Research in Sports Management; Helps Expand Global Collaboration and Networking

MIAMI, Aug 02, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Landry & Kling Inc., pioneering specialists in meetings at sea, announced today that it is facilitating Global Sport Business Association’s 2013 Conference at sea. The goal of the new association is to expand members’ global vision by offering more diversity of subject matter. Participants will learn about top sport management practices and research being conducted at colleges and universities around the world.

The conference will take place February 8-11, 2013, aboard Royal Caribbean International’s Majesty of the Seas. Departing fromMiami, the 3-night cruise conference includes 15 hours of professional education, one-on-one networking and socialization, in addition to stops at Coco Cay andNassau. During the Poster Sessions, presenters will discuss scholarly and applied research in the sport industry, focusing on the global nature of the business The Global Sport Business Association (GSBA) is also launching a bi-annual, peer-reviewed journal, focusing on sport management.
